Great Lakes Iron Ore Trade Down 29 Percent in January
Cleveland – Iron ore shipments on the Great Lakes totaled 1.9 million tons in January, a decrease of 29 percent compared to 2021. Loadings were below the month’s 5-year average by 12.3 percent. (Report Revised March 4, 2022.)
